ABOUT ME

I was born some years ago somewhere, or that is what my parents want me to believe. It was then, when I was very small, when I began to like drawing. I created comics with my friends as protagonists, that caused me some trouble. So, fearing for my phisical integrity, I started to create imaginary characters to star in my comics. "El Robot Hojalato" (Tinny Robot), "El Detective Luminio" (The Detective Luminio), or "Las Aventuras de El Quinteto Alpargata" (The Adventures of The Espadrille Quintet) were my first small fanzines, even before knowing the meaning of this buzzword. Back in 1995 upon arrival at the secundary school I created the fanzine Zocalo in cooperation with Sergio Cardoso. Its publication "forced" me to draw periodically, presenting my comics dozens of contests, and helping to improve gradually. Today, I combine the fanzine with jobs for other publications, and creating illustrations, posters, photomontages...
